Unfortunately, there are many medical conditions for which emergency treatment is not enough. If your pet is critically injured or ill, hospitalization in the intensive care unit (ICU) will be recommended. The ICU is staffed by compassionate and knowledgeable Emergency and Critical Care (E/CC) doctors and technicians 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

My pet is a part of the family, how do I know you are qualified?
The Emergency and Critical Care Departments are directed by Dr. Alisa Reniker, a board–certified specialist in the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Many of our doctors have over 10 years of experience in E/CC, and some have even received advanced internship training at large referral institutions. Our technicians are led by Angela Randels, board–certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Technicians. Our hospital and doctors meet or exceed all standards recommended by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and we are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.
